Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Heilbronn, Kramer employs around 2,400 people at six locations in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Bavaria. Its core business is contracted, recurring maintenance cleaning for commercial, public-sector and healthcare clients, complemented by specialist cleaning and facility services.
Kramer is a leading company in its field with a strong track record of profitable growth. The Group has grown successfully for more than four decades and has a proven track record in integrating acquisitions with RTS GmbH in 2021 and Gebäudereinigung Naheland GmbH in 2024.
Going forward, Kramer plans to keep growing, both on its own and by acquiring complementary businesses. The company also intends to broaden its range of services, including technical building management, and to expand into new regions.
For customers and employees, nothing changes: all Group companies will continue to operate as before, with familiar contacts, managers and teams.
The German facility services market reached EUR 68.7 billion in 2025 and is expected to grow by 6.1 to 6.4% per year through 2030. With around 35,000 companies, commercial cleaning is one of Germany’s most fragmented sectors. Combined with pending succession situations at many owner-managed providers, this creates attractive opportunities for inorganic growth.
“Over decades, our employees have made Kramer a trusted partner for our customers across Southern Germany. In Capmont we have found the ideal partner for the next phase of our development: a partner who shares our values and our commitment to quality and reliability, and whose experience in scaling mid-sized businesses will accelerate our growth beyond our home region,” said Ralf Kramer, Founder and Co-CEO of Kramer Group.
“Kramer combines a dense regional network, a strong growth track record, high customer satisfaction and a management team that has already successfully integrated acquisitions. This makes it the ideal platform for a nationwide integrated facility services group,” said Julian Spruck, Director at Capmont Private Equity.
Capmont was advised by Strategy& (Commercial), Rödl (Financial and Tax), YPOG (Legal and Tax Structuring), Goodwin Procter (Financing) and Yami Advisory (Debt Advisory). The sellers were advised by Burr Partner.
