Rüdiger is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Capmont. He has more than 25 years of private equity, M&A and banking experience. Prior to co-founding Capmont, he co-founded Capmont’s predecessor organization Deutsche Invest in 2017. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Managing Director at Euronext Brussels-listed BHF Kleinwort Benson Group (f.k.a. RHJ International), where he led the transformation of a diversified industrial holding company into a merchant banking group. Before that, he held senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse and Winterthur Group, having begun his career as an M&A and capital markets lawyer at Shearman & Sterling in Germany and the US. He holds a Ph.D. in European Business Law from the University of Cologne, studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth, Geneva and Tübingen, as well as business administration at the University of Bayreuth, London Business School and Harvard Business School.
